Ketogenic Day 10-14

I am Down 10lbs. since starting 14 days ago!

We have made a habit out of shopping and cooking together to prepare our food for the week. It’s been amazing to do this as a couple. It’s brought us closer together and it sets us up for success during the week. My wife has been hitting the gym and I have stepped up my game at CrossFit. Exercise on an empty stomach was difficult at first, but now I don’t even notice. We stop eating at 7PM and often CrossFit is around 9AM the next day. My body has learned to use stored fat and not rely on energy from food I have recently consumed.

The cravings and hunger still hit late at night when we are watching some shows together or just up late. It’s really difficult to push through those times, but so far so good. We have held strong and not cheated at all on the Keto diet.

Today we prepared a few meals that I am excited to have this week.

  1. Curry Chicken with Cauliflower Rice
  2. Sesame Salmon with Thai Curry Cabbage and Lime Mayo
  3. Pesto Chicken Casserole with Feta Cheese, Cauliflower and Mushrooms
  4. Cinnamon Butter Bites
