I was chaperoning at my son’s (two of them) 6th grade camp for the past three days. It was so much fun! Sierra Outdoor School is located near Sonora California about 1k feet above actually. We took a really nice bus from Fresno to Columbia where we had a really nice tour. Columbia was covered in snow! Good thing we brought our snow gear because we needed it. After our tour we headed up the mountain to the school. I met some pretty awesome parents and got a great group of 6th graders. Over the next three days we did ropes course and zip line, attended a lot of classes, saw a Golden Eagle and And owl in person, hiked about 5-6 miles a day, and told kids not to throw snow about a million times. For reals.
