Time Zone Tasks Automated

I’ve been working remotely for 15 years. I am used to having a team spread out across the globe. You would think that after this long, working with time zones would be second nature, but it’s not. I struggle with the math in my head. Especially when DST hits, and I have to remember to remember extra steps.

I’ve tried clock programs; I use an Alfred workflow that a Dev on my team shared with me, but nothing works that well. To make matters worse, a tool at work we use to manage scheduling our folks over 14 hours of coverage, uses 12h format in UTC, not 24. It’s like torture, because most of the other tooling uses 24 hour, or they are not in UTC. Come on!!!

I had Salvador create a one-page app that does it all for me. And it works. I can easily see my team in their time zones and see recurring events in 12h UTC, PST, or whatever I want. I added this, an ever-growing productivity dashboard that I’ve been working on for a few weeks, that also has a very slick Kanban board for my to-do items, an SLA tracker, a backlog tracker, etc. All the manual tasks I have to do that take time are now automated by my AI assistant. That one is managed by Davis, not Salvador. I keep my work, personal data, and systems totally separate.
