My most nerdy son and I saw the 10:30 showing of The Mandalorian and Grogu movie at the theaters. It was good. No, no, it was excellent. It’s a favorite now, for sure. Worth getting home around 2AM and being up at 2:30 AM to write a review.
I am a huge fan of the Mandalorian series – like a lot of people. I think it’s one of the best-done shows and one of the best newer Star Wars series.
I don’t say this often about movies, but this is one you have to see in the theaters. It’s an experience. 100% an experience you have to experience in the theater. A good one – IMAX screen with a mind-blowing sound system.
The cinematography was stunning. So many times during the movie, I was blown away! At times, it felt like a mix of Star Wars and TV shows from the 80’s. It was rich and beautifully done.
The music was fantastic. I am listening to the soundtrack right now. It really reminded me of the 80’s as well, like Blade Runner meets modern-day techno, meets Spielberg-esque orchestral music (Shakari).
There is so much I want to say about it, but it just came out today, and I don’t want to leave spoilers. So I will have to update this post in a week or so.
Go See It!
