A large portion of the PNPT exam is going to involve taking over a Domain Controller. That freaks me out a little.
I mentioned in another post that I have experience with LDAP and a bit with Active Directory, but that was a long time ago. I understood enough to get through the PEH course, but I am nervous that I may not know enough.

I am taking another BHIS Pay What You Can class/workshop tomorrow morning. This one is titled “Workshop: Intro to Active Directory with Dale Hobbes“. I really like BHIS, Active Countermeasures, and Antisyphon Training. Early on as I was getting a feel for Cybersecurity, I took several of their classes. Their Pay What You Can live training is amazing. (Their conferences are really cool too.)
I am hoping this will supplement my learning and give me some more confidence in my AD skills.
Update
The class Workshop was fun. It moved very fast and was probably a little too basic. I am glad I took it. The lab environment was frustrating, with all of us in the class, it kept crashing as we were gobbling up resources. It’s also not great that you are supposed to ask questions in Discord, but all the people in the class are constantly chatting about things that are irrelevant or posting gifs. Very distracting. But for a Pay What You Can Class – not too bad.
