Yeah you know me!
I am now learning OOP and it’s amazing. I know enough to know I don’t know enough. Which is an exciting place to be. Every day things are connecting for me. Some of the resources that are coming in handy are videos on YouTube. Here are just two of the videos that have really helped.
There are so many. I spent several hours a day over a week watching bits and pieces, filling in the gaps and answering my questions. A few creators that I really enjoy are Coderized, and ForrestKnight (Design patterns video and 3 algorithms every programmer should know).
I got a little stuck on getters and setters for awhile, but this article helped, as did this video.
I was most inspired by this video. I’ll embed it, that’s how great it is. I am 100% motivated to start working on some projects, starting with the ones that this creator talks about. I wish I could pause life and go to university and let this consume me, but being a husband and father of 9 and working full time – I am just going to have to keep plugging away a little bit at a time. It is fun though and I think that’s important. I switch between this and my music producing. Both bring me a lot of joy and are how I refill my batteries.
