Days 3 through 5 were action packed and amazing. This is really once of the best conferences I have ever been to.
The weather and the views during the conference were breath taking. These photos do not do the views justice, but check them out anyway.
The tracks I chose were really awesome. The RFID hacking talk from “iceman” was pretty good, definitely got me interested in trying some new things. My favorite of the whole conference was “How to Social Engineer the Ultimate Adversary: Yourself by Ed Miro”. I had a really great chat with Ed after the talk, this is the area I love most about Penetration Testing, the social engineering, with network/systems hacking coming in second.
There were talks on hacking space vehicles and how satellites and ground stations work. There were so many talks and so much to learn. Not all the talks are created equal, but most talks were just brilliant! You can watch some here, but not all. These were just Track B, so a very small sample of everything that was going on. The schedule is here if you want to take a look at all the tracks and talks.
What I appreciate most about the conference is the community. I made some friends, I grew my contacts on LinkedIn like crazy, and I got to level up my hacking skills greatly. I also have a clearer path for where I want to go and what I need to do to get there in my cybersecurity journey.
The badge and minibade were out of control. See my first post for more on that, but boy, it’s a whole culture.
