I just finished the Active Defense & Cyber Deception with John Strand! This class is taught by John and was, in my opinion, a really great deep dive. It’s not an intro, even though that’s what I used it as. I was pretty lost, but I knew I would be. There were a lot of concepts that I just did not know, but what this class really did for me personally, was let me know what I don’t know.
John is so, so great. Easy going and passionate about security. I loved that it was live and that I could send my questions via Discord and Chat. The class spanned 4 days, Monday through Thursday and ran from 11-4 the first day, and 12-4 the following days.
I am going to take this class again in a year or so when I have some more experience under my belt.
